Welcome to Reggae Riding!

What: a mountain bike festival in Southern Humboldt featuring a fun race for all ages and abilities, skills clinics, kids events, a wheelie contest, great food, local brews, camping, and live Reggae Music!

Where: The Southern Humboldt Community Park, just below Garberville on 934 Sprowl Creek Road http://www.sohumpark.org/

When: Sunday, August 19th. Cycling events start at 12noon and music will last until 11pm or later

Who: The Reggae Riding mountain bike festival is a fundraiser for Team Lost Coast Brewery www.teamlcb.blogspot.com (a locally based, national-level mountain bike racing team), the South Fork High School MTB Team, and the Community Bike Shop.

Why: To promote cycling as a fun activity for the whole family, a great way to get in shape, and to lessen our impact on Mother Earth by not driving. And, of course, to groove to some incredible, live reggae music!

Check back to this blog frequently for more information and details about the festival!
